I've literally spent 100s of hours try to get these two shitty syncing products stable, it's just not possible. From what I've read DropBox and ShareFile are pretty reliable.

And the biggest drawback we faced wouldn't have occurred if we were migrating to sharepoint online, so I'd definitely suggest contacting them, clarifying the license and using the trial. I can't really fault them for not letting you use the trial to do a full migration.
