Once it is applied to any surface, it will bond to it and cross-links fully within 12 hours. The sealant polymers react with moisture which is why you can not have any water in this product.

WebApr 17, 2012 · So to provide deep shine, Optimum came out with their own car wax which combines silicone sealants and carnauba wax for a nice deep shine. Same thing, very easy to apply. If you want to maintain the car's paint between applications of traditional wax or sealants, then using ONR and a spray wax like Meguiars ceramic wax is a great way to go.
